Inserting a Model Component

If you are a model owner, you can insert a model component:

1. Log in as described in Logging In.
2. Select Manage > Manage Data > Model Maintenance. The corresponding page appears. (Logged in users can add pages like this to their favorites. For instructions, refer to Managing Favorites.)  
3. Select Insert > Insert. A dialog box appears. 
4. From the Item Type list, select Model and click Next. The Models page appears. 
5. Enter the following information:
   • Model (component) Name
   • Version (number)
   • Owned By (context name)
   • Definition
   • Modeling Language
6. Click Save.

At this point, you can import updates to this model component, as described in Importing Updates to Registered Model Components.
