Immediate Priorities and Problems (Mayo Team)

Scott: MySQL 5.5 - CTS2 Java API, Performance Testing, Tomcat verification testing

  • No new issues on MySQL 5.5.   Currently testing with both Java 1.7 and MySQL 5.5.
    • Need to load content under 5.5 so we can confirm performance at load time and query time.
    • Can reuse performance scripts.
  • Performance testing of LexEVS queries - shared with Larry and others.
  • Tomcat 7
    • Distributed Junits being run.  (currently MySQL 5.0)
  • DRT request
    • DEV to be set up this week
  • Tech Catalog
    • Gilberto to send so we can review. (TODO)

Cory:  CTS2 Client UI, Java 1.7

    • CTS2 Client
      • Minimal changes (as per past meeting) to make slight UI changes on main search page.
    • Java 1.7
      • All junits are passing.
      • Distributed testing is being done by Scott.

Craig: Project Plan Updates

VS Client UI Updates - Demo (Cory)Agreed to go with the proposed changes to the UI.
caDSR and Value Set and other URIs (Weekly Status)

No updates this week.

ARC Updates - Performance Report (Scott)

Scott to forward the performance results to the group.

Junit review - looking at how some of the junits are testing.   Goal is to limit manual review and update. Anticipated agile process - so need to get testing time down to be able to push things along faster.

Tomcat 7 issues reported by Kim - Update

caCORE usage - caCORE generated code, not used by LexEVS .   This is low priority for Kim.

Tomcat Configuration (Scott)Cross site scripting junit (to test security) needs to be updated for Tomcat.
Agile and LexEVS

In order to be more responsive, consider more agile development.

Would like to start using an agile methodology as soon as possible.

Need to evaluate how to handle scheduling and planning.

Will need to have QA and security teams agree to such a process.

It was discussed that this may not be feasible to start an agile plan for this contract, but certainly the next contract.

JJ, Larry and Sherri agree that it makes sense to wait for next contract to fully jump into agile.

Removing CTS2 Authoring API

Consensus is to "remove CTS2 Java API from 6.2."

XML Loader remains to load content into LexEVS.
