If your user account has the Group Administrator role, and if one of the following conditions is true, you can delete data (empty collections and individual files) using using the web application (GUI):

  • If you have write permission on a particular collection, you can delete a file in that collection.
  • If you have write permission on an empty collection, you can delete that collection. 

To delete a collection that has files in it, send a request to ncidatavault@mail.nih.gov.
