This special 90-minute session of the CBIIT Speaker Series will feature demos of three tools that were developed through funding by the Informatics Technology for Cancer Research (ITCR) Program.

  • Jim Robinson from UCSD and Helga Thorvaldsdottir from the Broad Institute will present the Integrative Genomics Viewer

UCSC Xena

Single Cell Genome Viewer (Profiling and visualization of tumor genomes on a single-cell level) Sparse genomic profiling of multiple individual cancer cells is a tool of choice for characterization of genetic heterogeneity and clonal structure in tumors. I will outline a computational and visualization workflow we have developed for this purpose and provide evidence for diagnostic utility of single-cell genomics in prostate cancer
  • Mary Goldman from UC Santa Cruz will present the Xena Functional Genomics Browser
