  1. Perform a search for the data file, as described in Searching for Data via the GUI (or run a saved search from the Dashboard). The Data File Search Results page appears. 
  2. Select the source file:
    • If you want to select just one source file, click the link icon (The link icon.) in the row for that file. The Link page appears. (Screenshot TBD)

    • If you want to select multiple files, select each source file in the selection column and click Create Link. The Link page appears. (Screenshot TBD)

  3. Specify the parent collection path (the destination location for the link). 
  4. Click Submit. A message appears indicating that the link creation was successful. If you created links from multiple files, the system adds an entry to the Upload Tasks page and sends you an email notification with details about the link creation.
