To share the path URL for a file or collection:

  1. Log in as described in Logging In via the GUI. The Dashboard appears.
  2. Browse for the file or collection of interest, as described in in Browsing for Data via the GUI.
  3. In the Browse page, navigate to and right-click that file or collection. Click Click Copy Collection PathURL. The system copies it to your clipboard.
  4. Paste the path in a message for the intended recipient. 

If your user account has the Own permission level on a file or collection or a data file, you can manage permissions on that data, as described in in Sharing Data via Permissions.
