  1. Log in as described in Logging In.
  2. Select Manage > Manage Data > Model Maintenance. The corresponding page appears. (Logged in users can add pages like this to their favorites. For instructions, refer to Managing Favorites.)  
  3. Click the edit icon in the row for your model component. A detail page appears.
  4. Specify a Model Element Alternate Name Type, Table Model Characteristic Alternate Name Type, and CSModel Classification Scheme and click Save.
  5. Select Models Command > Refresh CDE Association. The system finds all of the matching CDEs and associates them with the model component.
