- Log in as described in Logging In via the GUI. The Dashboard appears.
- Select data for download, using one of the following options:
- Browse for the data file, as described in Browsing for Data via the GUI. In the detail panel, locate the row for the file you want to download.
- Search for the data file, as described in Searching for Data via the GUI (or run a saved search from the Dashboard). The search results page appears. Locate the row for the file you want to download.
- Initiate the download:
- In the search results page, click the download icon ().
- In the Browse page detail panel, in the row for the file you want to download, click the download icon.
The Download page appears.
- Select Local System. In the Download File Name field, you can keep the existing file name or specify a new file name. The destination folder structure must already exist.
- Click Download. The system responds as follows:
- If the file is in deep archive, the system sends you an email notification when the file is available for download. This restoration process could take a number of hours. When an email message arrives, click the link in that message. The Download page appears again. Click Download again. The system prompts you to save the file.
- Otherwise, the system prompts you to save the file.
