Current Sprint - Sprint 23 24 ( February 0418, 2016 – February 17April 02, 2016 )

LexEVS 6.4 S13-500 Agile Development - Sprint Status

We reviewed what was completed in sprint 23 and what we are going to work on in sprint 24.

Term Browser Performance

  • Remote vs. Local Update from Tin

We reviewed the performance numbers with Kevin.  Kevin agreed that the Remote API will take additional time.

The performance numbers show that the remote API times are approximately 20% longer.

We noticed the the Hierarchy traversal shows the remote API is actually faster.

We suggested trying to break out the actual LexEVS call timings to see what time it takes for the call versus the browser rendering.

Tracy will look at changing her test calls (using remote) and convert to making local calls to get some timings.

Tin mentioned he was testing the terms browser with Load Runner test tool.

NCI will continue to use the local API and test the Remote API.

Brian agreed that the multiple relationship attributes were viewed as being correct, if there is a relationship back to the attribute.

Brian asked if these attributes are useful/being used?

Brian suggested there are a few browser options for showing the qualifiers:

  • Aggregate all the attributes
  • Show the additional attribute information
  • Don't show them at all

Gilberto didn't believe users would need to see all of these attributes.

Brian suggested to continue to load the data, but don't show it in the browser. (It's presence in the browser isn't useful in it's current state.)

Larry suggested that Kim update the browser to not display these attributes.

These attributes would still be available via the LexEVS API.

Nexxus Testing

  • Delayed and rescheduled for Feb 17

This has been delayed to February 24th.

Craig will get additional details from Toky.

Status#SprintStatus-Sprint24

Craig mentioned that we will be exiting LexEVS phase 4.  This marks the end of the lucene development.

Phase 5 will start next sprint which will be verifying that CTS2, remote API, lbGUI, terms browser and other surrounding apps work with the updated LexEVS core codebase.

OBI Load Issues (Data Dev)

  • Update from Gilberto

We have several loader issues in the backlog that we will start to work on soon.

We requested that Gilberto could look at the list of issues and prioritize.

Scott suggested that we create test cases to capture the existing issues.

Nexxus Testing

  • Delayed and not scheduled
Toky delayed the testing.  There is currently no scheduled date for this.

VPN and GFE

  • Update from Gilberto
No updates.

RRF Loads

    • Updates from Scott

Scott  gave a quick review of the SMQs we loaded in the database.

We will review this when Brian Carlsen is available.

Scott will discuss this with Brian this week.

We should determine if the term browser needs to be updated for the 2.8 release.

LexEVS External UsersNo updates.

CTRP Update

  • Tracy

Tracy has worked with the new CTRP developer.  We are not planning any CTS2 changes for 6.4.

Tracy asked if there is a CTS2 API to get the "PROD" version of the coding scheme

6.3.0.2 RC Testing with Term Browser

  • Update from Tracy

OBI was reloaded and the tree worked as expected.

NCI agreed that LEXEVS-1427 was finished and we can tag 6.3.0.2 as FINAL.

VPN S2S Removal

  • Update from Gilberto

Gilberto will coordinate the shutdown of the site-2-sited VPN with Mark.

1516

  • Update from Rob

DATA_QA - value sets can be resolved.  When updating PROD, some value sets cannot be resolved.

The max result size is set to 500000.

Scott requested to see the logs when this issue is failing.  They would be term browser logs.

When the browser is pointed to remote, it resolves, when it is pointed to local, only one value is returned.

Scott suggested talking to Jacob about the security on PROD.  Scott will follow up with Jacob off line
