LexEVS 6.5.1.RC.1 has been deployed to the NCI QA tier.
When all the testing is completed and successful, we will re-tag the build as 6.5.1.FINAL, deploy to the QA tier and request an appscan.
- Testing Status update from QA team (Swathi)
- Swathi requested more time to finish testing as she is new to the team.
- The LexEVS team mentioned that in the past, QA has verified all of the JIRA issues for the release. This could be done by running the LexEVS system tests or integration tests.
- Other tests against the browser were also run through Selenium.
- Swathi plans to test the Remote API and the Browser.
- Swathi is working with Tinn on her tests.
- Testing Status update from EVS team (Jason, Kim, Tracy Rob)
- Rob has tested the runtime loaders on dev. This has looked good.
- Tracy did a round of testing with her general test script and that went well.
- Decision to tag FINAL and request AppScan
Timeline requirements
- The main requirement is that the browser and the LexEVS move up the tiers and deployed to production.
- There is also a browser fix to enhance its performance that will delivered with this release.
Craig suggested that Lyubov, Sherri, Jason and Craig meet to determine an expected timeline to deliver LexEVS and the browser.
Discussion Points:
- Scott has tested a 6.5.1 server with a 6.5.0 client.
- There were no unexpected errors. Known issues are fixed by using a new 6.5.1 client.
Decision Points:
- Scott will document how this works and where it fails in the JIRA item and add this information to 6.5.1 release wiki in the backwards compatibility section.
Discussion Points:
- Discuss a poster for conference.
- One of the editors (Erin) suggested this being a poster at CDISC in October.
- There is a potential for a CDISC poster as well as a LexEVS Poster. If a poster is presented, a 5-10 page paper would need to follow the paper.
- There is still a need for paper.
- We cannot submit the exact same paper to both CDISC and JAMIA.
- Lyubov suggested that if we had to pick one, that we should focus on a paper for JAMIA.
Decision Points:
- Scott will add the link to the DRAFT paper here.
