If your user account has the Group Administrator rolegroup administrator or system administrator role, you can find a user. 

  1. Log in as described in Logging In via the GUI. The Dashboard appears.
  2. Include Page

  3. In one or more fields, consider specifying a value. The system ignores capitalization in all fields. For example, "SMITH" and "smith" produce the same results. The following table provides more details about each field:

    User IdIDSpecify the user's NIH login user ID. In this field, the system does not recognize any wild card characters.
    First NameSpecify the user's first name. In this field, the system recognizes an underscore character (_) as a wild card for any single character, or a percent character (%) as a wild card for any number of characters (zero, one, or more).
    Last NameSpecify the user's last name. In this field, the system recognizes wild cards as described above for the First Name field.
    DOCSpecify the user's DOC. If your user account has the group administrator role, you can search for users in the same DOC as your own DME user account, or you can search for users in any DOC.
  4. Click Search. The system displays an indicator while processing the request. Then search results appear. (If you did not specify any search criteria, the system lists all users.) The following pages describe additional actions you can perform after finding a user:
