On 10/16, Sunita explained that the group admin performs the following steps. Currently step 1 is possible via the GUI, CLI, or REST API, but group admins tend to do it via CLI or REST API, because step 2 & 3 are not available in the GUI yet:

  1. Create the new user.
  2. Give that user access to data.
  3. Create a bookmark for that user.

The plan is to draft the CLI procedures, then add the above 3 steps somewhere in this page tree as an overview procedure with links to appropriate pages.

If your user account has the group administrator or system administrator role, you can manage users, groups, and permissions in DME, and delete data in DME, using the web application (GUI) or Command Line Utilities (CLU).
