SYNOPSIS: The Translational Medicine Mart (tranSMART) is a new, open-source platform for translational research originally based on the NIH-funded Informatics for Integrating Biology and the Bedside (i2b2) initiative. Key use cases that tranSMART focuses upon include knowledge management for the combination of clinical and molecular data sets for use in ad-hoc analyses; identification of novel biomarkers associated with stratifications of disease or treatment response; and selection of potential indications for novel and known treatments targeting common molecular pathways. The presentation will include a live demonstration of the current release of the software to highlight key capabilities. Session details ... |
