EVS transition to virtual machines

STATUS:

  • Prod2 server up and running - completed tested
  • DATAQA started


  • Tomcat 8.5 reached EoL - needing new stacks for all tiers
    • Oracles OES8, Tomcat 10, Java 17 
      • Java 17 implemented
      • Others to follow once 17 on Pro

Security

Tomcat 8.5 is EOL - risk if new vulnerability discovered

Statistics Dashboard

OBJECTIVE 
Complete Migration of Statistics Dashboard from SumoLogic to DataDog by June 1 2024.

  • All May logs loaded from Sumo - being tested
    • Testing rehydration of converted Sumo Logic logs

    Discussion about Java 17 migration and remediation

    There is an issue in Term Browser where several of the mappings show a null for the release. There is a choice: do a separate release to fix this or if we want to make it as part of the Java 17 release.

    DECIDED: Keep it as part of the Java 17 release (even if it means waiting longer)
