Generate If you are a model mapping expert, you can generate model characteristic mappings based on semantic matching:

1. Log in as described in Logging In.
2. Select Manage > Manage Data > Model Mapping Maintenance. The corresponding page appears. (Logged in users can add pages like this to their favorites. For instructions, refer to Managing Favorites.)  
3. Select a model mapping row. 
4. Select Model Mappings Command > Generate Semantic Mapping DEC. The system generates semantic mapping.  
5. Click the edit icon for the selected model mapping. A tree view and information panel appear. 
6. In the tree panel, select the 5.1 Configure Characteristics Mapping node. A grid appears with the following columns:
