Confluence supports adding alternative text in the Image Properties dialog box.

  1. Open the page on which you want to see the image.
  2. Select  Plus sign indicating Insert menu in ConfluenceImage Removed> Files and Images.
  3. Select the image to insert.
  4. Click the image to display the image properties menu.

    Adding a border and reducing the size of the image can give it a more professional look.
  5. Click the Properties button.
  6. The Image Properties dialog box appears.

  7. Enter Alt alt text in the Alt text field. Do not add text in the Title text field.
