EVS Weekly Tech Meeting

Discussion Points:

LexEVSSystems team has DEV system configured to run Docker containers.

  • LexES team has a Docker Compose script to create the LexEVS containers.
    • Team to discuss details with Jacob and the systems team.
    • CTS2 on-line documentation is running on NCI Prod system. 
      • A ticket has been submitted for the URL to be accessed outside the firewall.
      • Appscan is currently being run on the stage server.
    • System tests - Scott asked about the .M2 directory for maven and if was accessible for our Jenkins build.
      • Jacob commented that this should be available and we will follow up with him as needed.

  • Mayo team will look at the lexevs deployment on Dev.  Kim reported that the remote API is not working.

  • NCI would like us to investigate how to change CTS2 WSDL issue.
    • Possibly remove unused WSDLs
    • Possibly host on Git.

EVS Technical Strategy Meeting/Discussion Update

Discussion Points:

  •  Resolved value sets were discussed.
  • Simple search will work for value sets (as a coding scheme).  There is also a specific API for search value sets.
  • Overview of changes with Asserted value set implementation:
  • CTS2 Resolved value set API will need to be updated to make CTS2 to behave as it did before.A spreadsheet on existing service APIs is being created.  This is a work in progress and will continue to be updated.

  • Jason asked about a timeline for completion so the browser can test.
  • We still need to complete remote API
  • Search over all value sets (not just NCIt value sets)
  • We should be able to wrap up our work in mid March.We are on the final phases for finishing this work.

  • Margaret suggested that this resolved value set work should be completed before the CTS2 WSDL fix (as there is a temporary fix in place).

    • CIBMTR external user
        CTS2 user question on value set contains
        • They are looking for a REST API to the Metathesaurus for mappings.
        • CTS2 can query the Metathesaurus.
        • There was follow up with this group and we are waiting to hear if they have further questions.
