To prepare a trial record:

  1. Register the trial in CTRP. For information and instructions, refer to to Getting Started with Registrationin the NCI CTRP Registration User's Guide.
  2. Wait for the The trial to must be fully abstracted . This work is done by the CTRO. and that abstraction verified before accrual can be submitted to CTRP. If the CTRO requests more information about the trial once the trial is registered, respond in a timely manner .to facilitate the abstraction process.
  3. Participating sites must be in an open/recruiting trial status before initial accrual can be loaded.  Open/recruiting statuses include the following:  If your participating site on this trial did not yet have an open status at the time of registration in CTRP, repeat the preceding steps until it does have an open status. To receive accrual data, the trial must have your affiliated organization as a participating site, and that site must have an open status in the CTRP trial record.
