If your user account has the Write or Own permission level on an existing collection in DME, and if that existing collection has been configured to contain another collection, you can create an empty collection within that existing collection. The following command registers the metadata specified in <description.json> to the <destination-path> in DME. 

To create an empty collection:

  1. Create the JSON file that specifies the metadata for the new collection.

  2. Run the following command:

    dm_register_collection <description.json> <destination-path>

    The following table describes each parameter:

    A path to a file in your file system. In this file, specify the metadata that you want to upload, as follows:
