This shows the vocabulary versions currently in production and dates of upcoming version updates. Note, the dates presented are approximate. They can be impacted by user request and by system maintenance schedules. Past versions of the NCI Thesaurus are archived and available for download here. The NCI Metathesaurus is available for download to users with UMLS licenses here.

title	EVS 5.x Retirement Announcement

With the release of LexEVS 6.0, the version 5.1 is deprecated but will remain available and fully supported through at least the end of 2011. The LexEVSAPI 5.0 was deprecated upon the release of LexEVSAPI 5.1 in March 2010 and will be retired later this year. Data updates to the 5.0 LexBIG will cease within the next few months but the services will remain up for a time afterwards to allow people to migrate to a newer version. If you cannot meet this date or you need help, contact Application Support (with a hyperlink for App Support email). If you have not done so already we encourage you to begin planning your migration path to use LexEVSAPI 6.0..
