This page identifies the vocabulary versions currently in production and dates of upcoming version updates. Note, the dates presented are approximate. They can be impacted by user request and by system maintenance schedules. Past versions of the NCI Thesaurus are archived and available for download. The NCI Metathesaurus is available for download to users with UMLS licenses.


By NIH mandate, all services must be shifted to https by Dec 31, 2016. All LexEVS services before 6.4 will be shut down on that date to meet the mandate. You must shift to using LexEVS 6.4, which requires a new https client jar. Please see LexEVS 6.4 Remote Service and Client Updates for information on how to migrate. If you are dependent on this deprecated version, please contact us at NCIThesaurus@nci.nih.gov for assistance in migrating to the current version.
