If you are a model owner, you can refresh the CDE associated with a model component:
- Log in as described in Logging In.
- Select Manage > Manage Data > Model Maintenance. The corresponding page appears. (Logged in users can add pages like this to their favorites. For instructions, refer to Managing Favorites.)
- Click the edit icon in the row for your model component. A detail page appears.
- Specify a Model Element Alternate Name Type, Model Characteristic Alternate Name Type, and Model Classification Scheme and click Save.
- Select Models Command > Refresh CDE Association. The system finds all of the matching CDEs and associates them with the model component.
