Informatics Projects

The following section is a list of various activities and initiatives that the informatics department of CIP is participating in and/or working on.  Click on the activity to view more details about each of them.

NBIA and CTP Related Projects at CIP

In this section you will find CIP projects relating to the National Biomedical Imaging Archive (NBIA) software.  NBIA is a web based DICOM image archive being actively developed at NCI CBIIT as part of their caBIG program.  CIP has and will continue to play a critical role in helping NCI CBIIT to populate their NBIA server with scientifically relevant image data.

In an effort to improve the utility of this application CIP regularly participates in the development life cycle by providing end user feedback, bug reporting and feature requests.  CIP has also worked on projects relating to the Clinical Trials Processor (CTP) software, developed at the RSNA, which is used to load image data into the archive.
