This section describes how to use the My Favorites feature.

My Favorites

My Favorites are samples, protocols, or publications that you bookmarked in caNanoLab for easy access. As a logged in user, when you click the My Favorites option on the caNanoLab menu bar, the My Favorites page lists any samples, protocols, and publications that you added as favorites. You can view (where applicable), edit, remove these favorites from this page.

All favorite samples, protocols, and publications are shown by default, but you can hide items by clicking the Samples, Protocols, and Publications boxes at the top of the page.

My Favorites Tables

The My Samples, My Protocols, and My Publications tables display the following information.

Actions

Displays links to View, Edit, and Remove from Favorites for the item in that row.

If you click Remove from Favorites, you need to confirm the removal, and then the favorite is removed from the table. It is NOT removed from the database, only from the  Favorites list.

If there is no View link in the Actions column for a protocol, the protocol file is not available for viewing.

If there is no View link in the Actions column for a publication, there is no publication PubMed ID at the PubMed.gov web site.

Sample Name

The name of the Sample Name, Protocol Name, or Publication Title defined for the item in caNanoLab.
