Agenda

Review

    • URI designations for NCI/NCI
    • ALT_DEF vs XML definitions
    • Source (TVS tags issues)
      • Hierarchy dependencies and requirements (JIRA TBD)
Discussion Points:
  • Scott has a prototype to load VS definitions from the source.
  • There are some issues he ran into that he will review.
  • Scott reviewed the DB registry.
    • He pointed out that the URI is constructed a bit differently than they were.
  • ALT_DEF
    • If definition exists, use the definition, not the ALT_DEF
    • Authors would like to see their HTML markup, not the ALT_DEF.
    • Could use an inactive coding scheme to contain the author's information.
    • Having a configurable loader for this would be good too.
  • TVS -
    • There's two views of the hierarchy that need to be supported, categorized by the source vocabulary.

Decision Points:

  • The source in the URI is OK.  If it is NCI, it could be left off
  • There is no value set If there is no contributing source property for NCI.
  • TVS - Scott will come up with a proposal of how to implement.
    • Scott will review the email from Kim about how he uses the TVS.

Review remaining VS JIRA items

Discussion Points:

  • Any changes here would be considered as an updated in CTS2 as well.
  • Kim suggested doing the easiest ones first.
    • Kim uses the existing coding scheme API, which is not efficient.
    • Coding schemes are not being indexed.
