Agenda

EVS Weekly Tech Meeting

Discussion Points:

  • LexEVS
    • NCI Docker has been updated to 17.09.  This will allow the Mayo team to run their updated scripts with the new CentOS 7/Tomcat 8.5 image.
    • caDSR is not ready to move to 6.5.  6.4 will need to be maintained on production for them.
    • Tracy updated the namespace that CTS2 returns for NCIt.  This is on stage and will stay there until the end user verifies it works.
  • Browser/Tools
    • 2.11 patch testing is complete

Face2Face Discussion

Discussion Points:

Decision Points:

  • Mayo team to add participants and time frame to the agenda.
LexEVS 6.5.0 Finalization

Discussion Points:

  • Tuesday
    • What are the big ideas (overview of items) we want to get out of the meeting
    • This will drive the discussions over the next 2 days.
  • NCI Systems Discussions
    • Broaden the scope - what would they like to see out of our terminology resources.
  • Time frame - 9:00 to 4:00 each day.  If we finish early, we can have wrap up/discussion on Thursday.

Decision Points:

Terminology Mapping

Discussion Points:

  • Swiss Prot

  • ICD-O-3 to NCIt (also includes the meta CUI)
    • Mapping from NCIt to a source that is not loaded in LexEVS (point to a remote URI that is not resolvable)
  • Mapping and the triple store.  This could be a consistent API for LexEVS to pull from.

Decision Points:

MED-RT

Discussion Points:

  • NDFRT is being replaced by MED-RT
    • NDFRT was published for the FDA
  • MED-RT is 1/2 a terminology and 1/2 a mapping
  • NDFRT content is moved to other terminologies (RxNorm and others)

Decision Points:

  • Margaret will ask FDA if MED-RT should be published.
  • NCI will notify users of NDFRT and that it will be retired after a specific amount of time.
