Procedures related to creating a new project and updating configurations for projects

Overview

The configuration files for the Protege server are kept in a folder called "protegedata/configdata".  The scripts to start and stop the Protege services are located in the scripts directory and directly reference the configuration file location using the full path of "/local/content/protege/protegedata/configdata/<file>".  Some files and scripts are tier specific while others are not.

Tier Specific files:

• protegedata/configdata/protege-server.jks
• protegedata/configdata/server-configuration.json
• protegedata/configdata/server.properties
• scripts/shutdown.sh
• scripts/pellet - only if location of Java varies
• scripts/run-background.sh - only if protege-server.jks password varies  

New Server Project

1. Open the protege client locally 
2. Chose Server > Login and attach to the server to which you wish to add a project.  Note:port will be 9091
