EVS Service Priorities

  • Evaluate and propose best approach for EVS Services (EVS REST API and LexEVS team collaboration)
    • Determine and propose best approach for EVS Services
      • Gather and document new requirements
      • Define an architecture
        • include infrastructure
      • Consider input from external evaluation
      • Identify Pain points
      • Define a roadmap
      • Identify strengths of existing services and how they can be leveraged.
      • Determine maintenance requirements
      • Manage existing workflows
    • Continued MetaThesaurus support
      • Identify MetaThesaurus queries (co-occurence queries, etc).
    • Continued stand-alone terminology support
    • Improve and extend current functionalities of EVS REST/LexEVS
      • Enhance Mapping Support
        • mapping to external sources
        • evaluating searching algorithms for mapping purposes
        • determine effective way to provide user-friendly mapping details
    • Tentatively report back every 2 weeks.
