Retrospective

Liked (smile)

  • List anything that went well in this sprint including shout out to others that went out of their way to help (add your name after your comment)
  • Tremendous job by the QA team in finding bugs, especially ones that are not obvious to find (Kuffel, Gina (NIH/NCI) [C] )
  • Efforts of the whole teamUnknown User (podagatlapalll2)
  • UI design changes Rana, Ambar (NIH/NCI) [C]
  • I liked the team collaboration and communication specially when we find issues in the code freeze build they were tackled very efficiently . I loved the code freeze and final build , as we did not get any last min extra builds (smile) Lolla, Laxmi (NIH/NCI) [C]
  • Great work by QA team finding bugs. (Sheth, Karan (NIH/NCI) [C])
  • Great work by the whole time to get the production release out and on identifying and tackling hot fixes. Udosen, Toyo (NIH/NCI) [C]
  • Efficient and clear communication to get bugs fixed right before code freeze and passed on to QA. Go team! Stogsdill, Hannah (NIH/NCI) [C]
  • Multiple improvements to the newly-implemented Sample Profiles were well executed, and have greatly improved the functionality of the visualizations Musk, Philip (NIH/NCI) [C]
  • Our collective decision to err very much on the side of caution, and call an early end to the sprint, was clearly a very good, albeit (Captain) obvious decision Musk, Philip (NIH/NCI) [C]
  • Triage of late-breaking bugs was borderline textbook Musk, Philip (NIH/NCI) [C]
  • Three closely-related and functionally-significant sorting bugs all getting taken care of Musk, Philip (NIH/NCI) [C]

Lacked (sad)

Learned(lightbulb)

  • List anything you learned about in this sprint (add your name after your comment)
  • More about the configurability of our front-end components, including the donuts, sunbursts, side bars, tabs, and navigation bar (Kuffel, Gina (NIH/NCI) [C])
  • More about styling MUI components. Udosen, Toyo (NIH/NCI) [C]
  • Technically, although not directly related to the sprint to which this retro board refers, I learned that having someone who did not write the user stories in question read them for the first time, slowly and very deliberately, during our initial sprint pre-planning to be very illuminating. It serves as an early pressure test as to them having the right level of detail and being clear and understandable Musk, Philip (NIH/NCI) [C]
