This page is a work in progress.
If your user account has the Group Administrator role, and if you have write permission on a particular collection, following command allows you to permanently delete a file in that collection, and associated metadata:
dm_delete_datafile <file-path>
The following table describes each parameter:
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
<file-path> | A path within DME. Specify the data file that you want to delete. |
For example, consider the following command:
dm_delete_datafile /TEST_NO_HIER_Archive/downloads/testfile10
For instructions on performing a similar task in the GUI, refer to Deleting a File via the GUI.
