How to Complete the Links Section
Search for the trial of interest. For instructions, refer to Searching for Trials in PA.
In the search results, click the NCI Trial Identifier link for that trial. The Trial Identification page appears.
On the Trial Identification page, check out the trial. For instructions, refer to Checking In and Checking Out Trials. (This checkout step is optional for Super Abstractors.)
On the Administrative Data menu, click General Trial Details. The General Trials Details page appears.
On the General Trials Details page, navigate to the Links section. Complete the appropriate fields, see the following table for additional information. All Links fields are optional.
Included links will be added to the NCTN/NCORP Data archive for each trial. The links will be included in the ClinicalTrials.gov export and will be available to the ClinicalTrials.gov users. Only include links to web sites that are directly relevant to the protocol. Links to educational, research, government, and other non-profit web pages are acceptable. Do not include sites whose primary goal is to advertise or sell commercial products or services.
All submitted links are subject to review by ClinicalTrials.gov.

- Select Add Link. The link will be visible in a table in the Links section.
- To edit an existing link, in the Action column, click Edit. Make changes as necessary, and then click Save.
- To delete an existing link, in the Action column, click Delete.
- Select Save when completed.
