Thank you for attending and hope to see you again! Post-event materials and resources can be found here: Post-Event Materials & Resources

Congratulations on your acceptance to the Postdoc Recruitment Event (PRE)! PRE is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the research conducted within the intramural program at NCI, visit the NIH, and interact with investigators across the different campuses. We will be using this wiki site to host information regarding your upcoming visit. On this wiki, you will find detailed information to assist in your preparation for the upcoming two-day event, including with Principal Investigators (PIs). Additional information will be added as we get closer to the event date. Please carefully review the provided information and reach out to the program manager at ncipre@nih.gov if you have additional questions or concerns. We look forward to seeing you May 1-2, 2024!

We hosted a virtual Introductory Session on Tuesday, April 2 at 4:00PM (ET) to answer questions and provide guidance on next steps. A recording of this information session is now available here: https://nci.rev.vbrick.com/#/videos/08fc0f76-8abb-4202-950b-2e165fa7e77f.

Consider installing the NIH Clinical Center's 'Take Me There' app for helping you navigate the NIH campuses: https://www.takemethere.cc.nih.gov/

Next Steps

Following acceptance, you will need to do two things: 1) arrange your travel with the logistics coordinator and 2) identify NCI investigators whom you would like to meet.

  1. Arranging Your Travel:
    1. Kurd Ali, from Capital Consulting Corporation, will contact you to coordinate your travel arrangements and provide you with additional information regarding the logistics.
    2. PRE covers your travel, lodging, and pier diem for eligible participants. To be eligible, individuals must live more than 50 miles away from the NCI’s main campus in Bethesda, Maryland.
    3. Your visit must be booked by Capital Consulting Corporation. Please note that no exceptions will be made, and no travel costs will be reimbursed if you make travel arrangements on your own.
  2. Identifying Investigators:
