Value set resolution issues at NCI
| Kim has created JIRA issues for some concerns he has (LEXEVS-1729, LEXEVS-1730, LEXEVS-1731, LEXEVS-1732). Scott will update the issues with his suggestions and how to handle them. LEXEVS-1730 - Coding Scheme properties could indicate what version the coding scheme was resolved against. This would happen during the load. LEXEVS-1731 - We will need to determine the priority of this issue and work on accordingly. LEXEVS-1729 - We will need to investigate further to determine if this is a Lexevs issue. Scott suggested that we create a document to capture requirements for the behavior of namespaces and what they should be. Larry added that we need to investigate the usage of .cvd files. We need to determine if these can be removed. NCI has their value set resolution working. Resolving without the .cvd files would make the resolution slower. Larry also suggested that we understand how people are using value sets. Are they using the original values (from the original version), or the updated values (if it is pointing to a newer version)? We are also looking at the .cvd files. They seem to work when permissions are 775. |
