TimeItemWhoNotes

  • General Updates
    • CPTAC2 BRCA Acetylome (new study), 3 compref studies
    • CPTAC2 OV Glycoproteome (new study)
    • CPTAC2 BRCA Proteome (update), Phosphoproteome (update)
    • ICPC - Korea PDA cancer
    • CPTAC3 PDA
    • CPTAC2 CCRCC DIA datasets
    • Data release
    • Other datasets
    • PDC portal and workspace feature improvements and bug fixes
  • Data licensing and data use agreement (embargo related discussion)
    • Add embargo date to the file tab on PDC portal?
    • Combining the language between CPTAC and PDC for consistency - Erika K
    • Remove/Consolidate all data policy/Embargo date related information and present in a separate Tab
    • Provide guidance to Seven Bridges Genomics on how to handle embargo date
    • Are there any additional feature improvements needed?

  • The release of new BRCA and OV studies involves unifying the biospecimens for these cohorts with the old and previously released studies. This is a major challenge but critical for interoperability.
  • The draft policy for versioning is discussed. The clinical data management is complex and a CRDC policy is needed to guide the versioning. Erika Kim will discuss the topic of clinical data management with CRDC group.  For the time being PDC will continue to work on version for studies where the experimental design is affected. The policy will continue to evolve.
  • Erika Kim is working with NIH Data sharing office to come up with appropriate language for data licensing and data use agreement that uniformly applies to all datasets in PDC irrespective of the data source.
  • Once the policy is ready PDC will have a separate page to display these information that is easily findable on the PDC portal.
  • We continuing to improve the embargo data display on the portal to simplifying the access to this information for Seven Bridges Genomics.
  • Erika will provide further guidance on displaying contacts on PDC, especially for the CPTAC program - PI names vs CPTAC program name.
  • Met with Sam Payne from PDC SC to discuss opportunities for integration between PDC and his tool kit. The first step is Payne lab will try to access PDC quant data through APIs.
  • We also plan to meet with other SC member- Amanda P and Bing Z to discuss their use case.
