Highlights of caIntegrator v1.4.2

This release includes enhancements to improve performance and upgrades to third-party components to improve maintainability and reduce technical risk.

Performance improvements

  • [CAINT-1279] - Improve Memory Usage of study deployments
  • [CAINT-1282] - Improve performance of the various seaches within caIntegrator
  • [CAINT-1283] - Improve performance of study summary and edit study pages

Component upgrades

  • [CAINT-1301] - Upgrade to EhCache 2.6.6
  • [CAINT-1242] - Upgrade to latest version of the Spring Framework
  • [CAINT-1320] - Upgraded from Tiles 2.2.x to Tiles 3.x
  • Enhancements to the BioDBNet search: Users can now search for gene pathways by gene symbol, then select the gene pathways for which the search should return genes.  Users can also select whether or not searches should be case sensitive.
  • caIntegrator is now able to receive data from the AIM service at Emory.
  • Upgrade to Struts 2.3.15.1 to address a serious security vulnerability that allows attackers to gain administrative control of the server.
  • Technology upgrades: IGV 2.1.
