This page contains two examples of importing worksheets demonstrates importing a worksheet into Confluence with the Excel macro. As a test, one the second row was colored and the yellow in Excel. The color is not rendered in Confluence.
The View File macro may also be used to embed an Excel file in a page.
Example 1. Excel worksheet pasted into MS Word with second row colored yellow in MS Word
The letters g,h,i were added in Confluence and heading markup was added in the markup view; the row color is not rendered by Confluence.

Color is rendered.
The row color is not rendered by Confluence. To import the spreadsheet in this way type {exc and when the list of macros opens, select Excel. Click on the macro panel and specify the file to display and any other parameters you wish to specify.
