Options You See and Why
When you use caNanoLabopen caNanoLab, the public caNanoLab home page displays. From that page, any user can search publicly-available protocols, samples, and publications in the caNanoLab database. When you log in, you are assigned to a certain user group. This and this group affects the menu options you see on the home page after login. For a list of the caNanoLab user groups and the menus to which each user group has access to certain menu options, see the following section. Protocol, Sample, and Publication Visibility
When a data curator creates Once you log into caNanoLab, you can edit only database items to which you are associated. A data curator adds this association when creating and/or uploads uploading a protocol, sample, or publication to the caNanoLab database, the . The curator indicates who has Access To the item . The curator can indicate that by adding you (your login ID) or a collaboration group (group name) that you are in have Access To the object. With access, you could view and possibly edit the item in the database. The My Workspace page is available so that curators have quick access to all the items they have submitted.
Can you only share with another curator? It just gives them the ability to make changes and submit, and change access?
