A hierarchy of small wiki pages is easier to maintain than one large wiki page with sections. However, if you want to divide your content into sections within a single wiki page, you might need to create a link that points to a specific place on a page. To do so, you can use an anchor (which is like a bookmark) or a heading. 

To create an anchor and create a link pointing to that anchor:

The following are the steps to link to a specific place on a page.

  1. Navigate to the place to which you want to link.
  2. Immediately after the text to which you want to link, enter an anchor. This text will be at the top of the screen when the link opens.

    2. Select the Anchor macro.  The Insert ‘Anchor’ Macro dialog box appears.
    3. Enter the Anchor Name and select Insert. The Anchor

    • If that place is on the same page, using the Advanced field in the link dialog box, enter the link in the following form
