If you have a user account with upload permission and you have read access to an AWS S3 bucket, you can upload one or more files from it. 

  1. Log in, as described in Logging In
  2. Click Uploads. The upload page appears. 
  3. Select an existing program or add a new one. For instructions on adding a program, refer to (link TBD).
  4. Select an existing study or add a new one. For instructions on adding a study, refer to (link TBD).
  5. Select an existing data set or add a new one. For instructions on adding a data set, refer to (link TBD).
  6. Click Add Data. Select Bulk Data Files > S3
  7. Specify the following information: 
    • The name of the source S3 bucket.
    • The path to and the name of the folder in the source bucket. 
    • The AWS access key.
    • The AWS secret access key.
    • The region.
  8. Click Register. The system transfers the data based on your selections. 
  9. When the system displays the task ID, consider copying that ID and viewing the status of the upload. For instructions, refer to Viewing Download or Upload Status
