If the following criteria are all true, you can upload one or more files from an AWS S3 bucket to a dataset in MoDaC: 

...

  1. Log in, as described in Logging In
  2. Click Uploads Upload in the header. The upload page appears.
  3. Navigate to the dataset:
    1. Select an existing program or add a new one. 
    2. Select an existing study or add a new one. 
    3. Select an existing dataset or add a new one.

    For instructions, refer to Adding a Collection.

  4. Click Add Upload Data. Select Transfer from S3
  5. Specify the following information: 
    • The name of the source S3 bucket.
    • The path to and the name of the folder in the source bucket. 
    • The AWS access key.
    • The AWS secret access key.
    • The region.
  6. Click RegisterUpload. The system transfers the data based on your selections. 
  7. When the system displays the task ID, consider viewing the status of the upload. For instructions, refer to Viewing Download or Upload Status
