You can upload one or more files from Google Drive to a dataset an asset in MoDaC.  

When you upload data, you become the owner of that data. (Ownership cannot be changed.) 

  1. Log in, as described in Logging In
  2. Click Upload in the header. The upload page appears.
  3. Navigate to the datasetasset:
    1. Select an existing program or add a new one. 
    2. Select an existing study or add a new one. 
    3. Select an existing dataset asset or add a new one.

    For instructions, refer to Adding a Collection.

  4. Click Upload Data. Select Google Drive. Click Authorize MoDaC to Access Your Google Drive. A Google page appears. Follow the prompts. The MoDaC upload page reappears, indicating the successful generation of an access token. 
  5. Click Select Data from Google Drive. The Select Files or Folder dialog box appears.
  6. Navigate to and select the files that you want to upload. Click Select. The MoDaC upload page reappears, with information about your Google Drive selection below the Select Data from Google Drive link.
  7. Click Upload. The system transfers the data based on your selections. (If you selected a folder, the system tries to upload all files in that folder.)
  8. When the system displays the task ID, consider viewing the status of the upload. For instructions, refer to Viewing Download or Upload Status
