If the following criteria are metall true, you can delete a data file:

  • You own the data. That is, you created the file. 
  • The parent collection is not public. For information, refer to Sharing Collections with Groups

    Guidance in 2020-09-24 meeting is to not mention delay between making an asset non-public and the ability to delete a file in it. It's a unique case, controlled mostly internally. 

  • The data file is less than 90 days old.

  1. Log in, as described in Logging In
  2. Perform a search, as described in Finding Data.
  3. In the search results, click the link for the asset of interest. The Asset Details page appears. 
  4. If the asset has subfolders, navigate to the file of interest. (Click each folder to open it.)
  5. If the asset has prediction files that you want to delete, click the Predictions tab.
  6. In the row for the file that you want to delete, click the delete file icon. A confirmation message appears.
  7. Click Yes
