To share the path for a file:

  1. Log in as described in Logging In via the GUI. The Dashboard appears.
  2. Browse for the file of interest, as described in Browsing for Data via the GUI.
  3. In the Browse page, navigate to and right-click that file. Click View Details. The Data File page appears, listing the metadata for the data file.
  4. Click the copy icon (The copy icon.Image Added). The system copies the path for the file to your clipboard.
  5. Paste the path in a message for the intended recipient. 

If your user account has the Own permission level on a collection or a data file, you can manage permissions on that data, as described in Sharing Data via Permissions.
