To share the path for a file:
- Log in as described in Logging In via the GUI. The Dashboard appears.
- Browse for the file of interest, as described in Browsing for Data via the GUI.
- In the Browse page, navigate to and right-click that file. Click View Details. The Data File page appears, listing the metadata for the data file.
- Click the copy icon (
). The system copies the path for the file to your clipboard. - Paste the path in a message for the intended recipient.
If your user account has the Own permission level on a collection or a data file, you can manage permissions on that data, as described in Sharing Data via Permissions.
