MODAC-3: Started drafting. I'm not sure how to make a download or upload fail, so I can test it myself. Does this feature work only for Globus transfers? Also, this page needs screenshots. |
Sometimes an upload or download fails due to network issues or other issues. In these casesFor Globus transfers, consider the following steps:
- Check If you were using Globus for the transfer, check whether the Globus group has been given write permission appropriate permissions to the target Globus endpoint. For instructions, refer to Preparing to Use Globus.
- View the details about a specific failed request, as described in Viewing Download or Upload Status.
- Click the retry option icon in the Transfer Status column. The system submits a new request, identical to the original request. A message appears with a Task ID link for the new request.
- If the issue persists, click Contact in the header. select About > Contact. For details, refer to Contacting Us.
