You can use the Highlight macro to create highlighted text. For instructions, refer to the following plugin help page:

In the macro panel, enter the text that you want to highlight. The output is inline; enter a nonbreaking space in the XHTML before the macro to properly space the output in the sentence.

The markup to create highlighted text is as follows. You can specify the color you want, using the name or the hex number.
