When a user creates a collectiona collection (at the asset level or higher) or uploads a file, that user can specify which groups can modify the metadata for that collection or file. If you belong to one of those groups, you can modify the metadata for that collection .

- To add a metadata attribute, click the Add Metadata option. A blank attribute row appears. Specify a unique attribute name.
- Specify a value for each required metadata attribute. If you want the public to have access to the data, leave the access_group field empty.
