If the following criteria are all true, you can upload one or more files from a Globus endpoint to an asset in MoDaC:
- You have a MoDaC

- user account with upload permission

- You are member of a group that has permission to edit that asset (or you created that asset).
- You have prepared a Globus endpoint for use with MoDaC. For details, refer to Preparing to Use Globus.
When you upload data, you become the owner of that data. (Ownership cannot be changed.)
Log in, as described in Logging In.
- Make sure your window is wide enough to display the Uploads option in the header.
- Click Uploads
Click Upload in the header. The upload page appears.
- Navigate to the data set:
- Select an existing program or add a new one.
- Select an existing study or add a new one.
- Select an existing data set or add a new one.

Include Page navigate step navigate step Include Page open the upload files page open the upload files page - Click Add Data.
Select Transfer from Globus Endpoint > Select
DataFiles from Globus Endpoint. A Globus page appears.
In Globus, select an endpoint. Select the files
or foldersthat you want to upload.
ClickClick Submit. The upload page reappears with the Globus endpoint ID and path
, and the list of. (Depending on your selections in Globus, the upload page might also list the selected data files.)
Click
RegisterUpload. The system transfers the data based on your selections.
When the system displays the task ID,
