When a user creates a collection, that user can specify which groups can modify that collection. Under the following conditionsIf you are a researcher, you can generate predictions from a model asset collection: 

  • You have a MoDaC user account with upload permission.
  • You belong to a group that can modify that collection.
  • The inferencing feature is available for that collection.

Perform a search for data, as described in Searching for Data. In the Asset Type filter, select Model. The search results appear.

In data search results, click the link for the asset of interest. The system displays the details page for that asset. For details, refer to Exploring Details of an Asset.

In the Asset Files section of the page, click Generate Predictions. The Generate Predictions dialog box appears.

Click Choose File. Navigate to and select your file. The filename appears next to the Choose File button.

Click Generate. The system processes your request.

When your files are ready, choose one of the following methods:

  • In the Asset Details page for a model, you can upload files and generate predictions. In this case, the system requires an input file and the outcome file is optional. For instructions, refer to Generating Predictions
  • You can create a reference dataset in MoDaC, upload files to it, and then perform a model analysis. In this case, the system requires an input file and an outcome file in the reference dataset. For instructions, refer to the following pages:
