Include Page caDSR:browser and portal step include caDSR:browser and portal step include From the View menu, select Browse and then select Models - View/Browse. The corresponding page appears. (Logged in users can add pages like this to their favorites. For instructions, refer to Managing Favorites.) The Models - View/Browse page contains a grid with with the following columns:
Column Information Model Name The name assigned to the model by the model owner. Public ID The unique identifier for the model in caDSR. Version The version of the model that is registered in caDSR. Owned By The context that owns the model and has administrative authority to edit and update it. Registration Status A designation of the model's status in the registration life-cycle. Workflow Status A designation of the model's status in the administrative process of a registration authority for handling registration requests. Definition The definition of the model within a context. Latest Version? "Yes" indicates that this is the latest version of the model. "No" indicates this is an older version of the model. Item Type The type of registered administered item (Model). Created By The user who created the model in caDSR. Last Modified By The user who last updated the model in caDSR. In the row for the model you would like to view, click the View icon. A tree view and information panel appear.

Column Information Alternate NameTBD The alternate name of the model within a context. Alternate Name TypeTBD The type of alternate name for the model. ContextTBD The context that owns the alternate name and has administrative authority to edit and update it. Language TBD The language or language variation for the alternate name of the model. Column Information CS ContextTBD The context that owns the classification scheme of the model and has administrative authority to edit and update it. CS|CSITBD The classification scheme or classification scheme item for the model. CS Public IDTBD The unique identifier of the classification scheme for the model in caDSR. CS VersionTBD The version of the classification scheme for the model in caDSR. CS Workflow StatusTBD The workflow status of the classification scheme for the model. CSI Public IDTBD The unique identifier of the classification scheme item for the model in caDSR. CSI VersionTBD The version of the classification scheme item for the model in caDSR. CSI Workflow StatusTBD The workflow status of the classification scheme item for the model. CS TypeTBD The type of classification scheme for the model. Document TextTBD The text of the reference document for the model. ContextTBD The context that owns the reference document for the model and has administrative authority to edit and update it. LanguageTBD The language or language variation of the reference document for the model. Display OrderTBD The display order of the reference document for the model. URL TBD The URL of the reference document for the model. Expand title View columns for the "5. Model Elements" node Click the "5. Model Elements" node. A grid appears with the following columns:
Column Information Element Long NameTBD The long name assigned to the element in caDSR. Element Physical NameTBD The name of the element in the physical data model. Element TypeTBD The kind of model element this item represents, such as Table, Node, Class. This is usually driven by the type of model being registered. Element Public IDTBD The unique caDSR public ID for the element. Element VersionTBD The version number. Element DescriptionTBD The model owner's description of the model element. Element Mapping GroupTBD A high-level alignment of this model element with a common core semantics or meaning of the Element. If CDEs are linked with the associated Characteristics, the CDE semantics will be used for the Characteristic, even if different than mapping group. Element Mapping Group Definition TBD The definition of the element mapping group. Expand title View columns for the "7. Flattened View - Elements, Characteristics, CDEs" node Click the "7. Flattened View - Elements, Characteristics, CDEs" node. A grid appears with the following columns:

Characteristic Long NameTBD The long name of the characteristic with no restrictions on the format. Characteristic Physical NameTBD The physical name of the characteristic. Characteristic OrderTBD The order of characteristics. Characteristic TypeTBD The type of characteristic. Mandatory?TBD An indication of whether this characteristic must be populated with data in a transformation. Default ValueTBD The default value for the model. CDE Public IDTBD The CDE public ID. CDE VersionTBD The CDE version number. CDE Long NameTBD The CDE long name. CDE ContextTBD The Owning Context of the CDE. VD Public IDTBD The public ID of the value domain. VD VersionTBD The version number of the value domain. VD Long NameTBD The long name of the value domain. VD TypeTBD The type of value domain: Enumerated or Non-enumerated. Char Data TypeTBD The data type of the characteristic, such as integer or varchar(50). VD Standard Data TypeTBD The standard data type of the value domain, such as Integer or Character. Char UOMTBD The unit of measure of the characteristic. VD UOMTBD The unit of measure of the Value Domain. Char Min LengthTBD The minimum length of the characteristic. VD Min LengthTBD The minimum length of the value domain. Char Max LengthTBD The maximum length of the characteristic. VD Max LengthTBD The maximum length of the value domain. DEC Public IDTBD The public ID of the DEC. DEC VersionTBD The version number of the DEC. DEC Long NameTBD The long name of the DEC. DEC ContextTBD The context of the DEC. Char PK?TBD Is the characteristic a primary key or part of a PK for the element? Char FK?TBD Does the characteristic have a parent via foreign Key association? FK Element Physical NameTBD Parent Element Physical name if characteristic is a foreign key. FK Characteristics Physical NameTBD Parent Element Characteristic Physical Name if foreign key association is indicated. Element DescriptionTBD The model owner's description of the model element. Characteristic DescriptionTBD The description of the characteristic. Element Mapping Group TBD A high-level alignment of this model element with a common core semantics or meaning of the Element. If CDEs are linked with the associated Characteristics, the CDE semantics will be used for the Characteristic, even if different than mapping group.
